One philosophy. Different expressions.
My writing explores how character develops the individual, how individuals grow into leaders, and how leaders build organizations worth following.
Have Fun. Be a Leader. Do Your Best.
This book began as guidance for my son. Its lessons, however, are universal.
It explores the habits, character, relationships, virtues, responsibilities, and choices that help a person live well and influence others through the example they set.
The book is personal in origin, but broad in application. It is about becoming the kind of person whose character, judgment, discipline, humility, and service make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Although the books can be read independently, they represent two expressions of the same body of work.
Worth Following
Worth Following is the working title of a future book exploring two connected questions:
What makes a leader worth following?
What makes an organization worth following?
The book is being developed from the Worth Following doctrine, the Leadership Model, the advisory practice, and continuing reflection on leadership across military, business, family, and organizational life.
It will build on the foundation established in Have Fun. Be a Leader. Do Your Best. by moving from the character of the individual to the responsibilities of leaders and the capability of organizations.
The platform extends beyond books.
Books are one expression of the Worth Following platform. The same philosophy also takes form through doctrine, diagrams, speaking, advisory work, essays, and future publications.
The books are part of a larger conversation about leadership.
